March was a bit of a slower month for me in terms of reading because my social life has been through the roof with activity! I feel like my nights of reading have been replaced by social gatherings, birthday parties, weddings, and now I need to get back to my reading schedule.
Enjoy the March books and hopefully will have more for you coming in April!

Let's be honest, we needed a book dedicated to Nesta, her backstory, and her future with Cassian! I've always liked Nesta the best out of all the Archeron sisters so this book was just the ticket for me! 5/5 stars in this series!
Our main villians - Eris, human queens, Vassa and Jurian, and sort of (?) Lucien - are still players in the book but take more of a backseat when new characters emerge in the gang's fight to maintain peace.
Maas has done it again with her character deep dives, emotional storylines, world building, and extremely spicy scenes!

"Sooner or later, an animal on the run runs for home."
Mich Kennedy has always been methodical about his job in Murder Squad, but after receiving a case in his old hometown of Broken Harbor, his skills and tactics begin to slip. French continues to live up to the hype in this book! Loved the eerie setting, the family and neighborhood dark dynamics, and Mick's family scenario. French is the absolute best at mystery/murder writing! She always ties in a bit of mystique and supernatural as well.
4/5 stars for me!

I will start by saying that yes, I am impressed by this doctor's literary prowess. That being said, I struggled more than any other book I've read with this one.
Marian and Shiva Stone are twin brothers and born to a nun and a surgeon. Their mother dies in childbirth and their father abandons them at first sight. Both twins are born into medicine and immediately are taken with the practice. Ethiopia is full of war and terror and this book explores these twin's growth and struggle through Marian's eyes.
Although I ultimately disliked this book and found it extremely difficult to stay connected with, I can appreciate Verghese's writing.

Again, I was having serious FOMO and had to get in on the excitement around Maas's new world!
Bryce and Danika are incredibly close best friends, but when brutal murders shake Bryce's world to the core, she has to figure out how to move on in her new world while finding out who is responsible for these murders. When infamous fallen angel, Hunt Athalar, is assigned to guard Bryce, our story unravels quickly from there. Again, Maas is unmatched in her intricate world building and character backstories. Just when I start to pull away from the storyline, she rapes ya right back in!
4/5 stars for me with this one!

Cassandra Mortmain and her family live in a dilapidated castle in the English countryside, but with her father no longer writing and money running out, she takes to her journal to write about her life and her family. When two American strangers show up and turn their family upside down, the novel starts to really progress.
Dodie Smith has Cassandra really capture the essence of the castle and family by the end of this book. Her writing style took a minute for me to adapt to but I loved Cassandra's train of thought. I really disliked the books ending and how she ended the storyline with almost every character so I would rate this 3.5/5 stars!
